The Advanced Sound Line of Manufactured Speaker Products

Cabinetry: 3/4" industrial grade particle board, veneered on both sides, with proper bracing and internal baffles. Models below (except the Ziggurat) have oak or walnut veneered tops and bases, with the cabinets wrapped in brown or black grille cloth. The Ziggurat is veneered both sides, pedestal, and base. The Ziggurat's side walls are 1-1/2" thick.
All low frequency and mid-frequency drivers used are designed and manufactured by Advanced Sound with precise tolerance, flat response, low distortion, and good transit response.
The crossover, or frequency dividing network, is probably the most important part of a high quality loudspeaker system. Advanced Sound builds a Quasi-First and Second Order, three and four-way crossover network with zero phase error. All crossover networks used are series connected, by selecting the proper ratio of inductance to capacitance. These hand-assembled networks have been carefully developed through extensive testing to utilize the free field response of the "real world" drivers to their maximum advantage in each particular system.
